I have a picture of Jacob when he was 2 yrs old saying a prayer over the food. I couldn't resist when we were at the table with Katie. It's going on my wall in the kitchen.

When my oldest daughter had her first baby I wanted to pep up the name "grandma". It sounded too old to me. At the time I always seemed to be making cookies because of a grocery business I had - so I decided "Grandma Cookies" would be a fun name that my grandkids would love to say. It's stuck - and all of the kids now know that when they come to this Grandma Cookies house - I try to always have fresh cookies in the cookie jar!
