Tea Party on Guam

Emma is 18 months old and it's time that this Grandma Cookies gave Emma her first tea party! We are on Guam. OO-la-la! Here Emma and I are setting everything up. You'll notice the boas and the oo-la-la accessories in the background. One day Emma will learn about "Fancy Nancy" from me but that will have to be another post.
Jamie is the best photographer ever - however Marta (20 days old) needs to eat! So I am trying to stall Marta and Jamie is now trying to do this "calm" tea party photo shoot for me! Emma is more interested in taking the lid off this tea pot than anything else at this point. It was so darling!

Feather boas and fancy glasses - now I just need a crown!
Okay we found a "crown" and the jewelry and accessories are in place. There is more water on the floor than I want to tell Jamie. Ryan also can't know that we were eating in her bedroom! Sorry Ryan - the lighting was better! Ha!
This is the cutest picture ever! I know you agree too.

Well, the water is gone - but the best part is that she realized on her own that one of the little tea cups fits the new little baby I brought her. Oh that was so cute!

She looks like a fancy actress here! You know tea parties are really only fun because of the tea pot and it's lid!

The boa was tickling her neck and it was time to clean up. Jamie came back into the room and caught this by total surprise. Yep....water can pour out of the tea cup - right onto the floor! It was a little lunch I will never forget!

Actually, Gina - Jamie took all the shots - I am trying to keep Marta happy "on the side" - remember! When the photo shoot was finished - Emma and I really did have a fun little tea party. Then we took it all in the kitchen area - and set up all the stuffed animals and dolls so Emma could continue to pour the tea pot! Grandma Cookies (I have to sign like this since I am using Jamie's computer)
