I wouldn't be Grandma Cookies - without the cookies, you know!

"Emma! We're going to make some cookies!" "Okay!"

"Good job cracking those eggs!"

Can you see the chocolate on her cheeks? She enjoyed the chocolate chips so much and I haven't had them in a year - so I loved them too. Now in the picture below, she is adding the flour. I might add right here that I haven't made homemade cookies in such a long time (only use the frozen kind) that Jamie had to tutor me step by step. Now THAT was embarrassing for a Grandma my age!

The best part of this little adventure was that Emma put the flour on her legs, arms and cheeks by herself while stirring and measuring and such. Whew - I thought I was going to have to smear some here and there for the effect. Well, maybe I did a little on her arm.

Oh goodie - Jamie says that we get to use the WHOLE BAG of chocolate chips!

Now it's time to taste test. I am reassuring her that it's okay to eat the dough now!

Well, it wasn't going in her mouth fast enough with her fingers. What's a grandma to do?

Now it's MY TURN! Oh, this made Emma squeal!

As you can see - it was a totally ecstatic event....that's a fancy word for FUN and EXCITING!

All the taste tester could say at this point was......mm mm good! (And we would all agree!)
