Mother's Day this year was better than ever! Not only did my own kids make me feel like a queen - but I think the grandkids notes made my day even better. I hung everything up on my wall by the stairs. I see this "coming and going!"
I have to show the picture that made me cry first! Every year - someone tries to make the right card that will make me shed tears. Jacob said, "Ah, come on! Gina's card made you cry two years in a row." Yep - you would have cried too if you were their Grandma!
Judy and Aaron - I wasn't expecting anything so cute!

Then there was Ryan and Katie! Here is a close up Katie's and Ryan's art work! I added their pictures for the sake of friends who came over and wanted to see their photos!
Super cute!
Here is Matt's adorable note. I was expecting something like - "when do I get to come to your house and ride "Quick Silver" again or something like that. (That's a horse at the nearby Walmart that he loves to ride for 50 cents) But no......he has to tell me about a tornado!
I laughed big time!
Jana has always had Will draw a picture for my card and then Jana writes exactly what Will tells her to write on the inside of the card. This year he is in kindergarten and didn't need any help at all. We all loved Will's personal message!
This one was VERY CHOICE!

Here is Rachel's art work. (super great, Rach!)
Her message brought LOTS of tears!
(a Grandmother's dream)
Thank you - thank you, Rachel!

Now you can see why my Mother's Day was so perfect.
Thank you - Thank you - I love you all so much!

How neat! I loved to see all of the grandkids' artwork and pictures. That must be fun to see this constantly on the wall! Your grandkids sure love you - and of course all of your kids do too.
We had a fireside at the house last night and everyone loved seeing the artwork! I should get a bulletin board as big as the wall so I can display all their art that they send me! Oh my gosh - this is just like when you girls were growing up. Pictures all over the place! Makes me smile.
I love the title Grandma's little cookies! Really cute!
BAWHAHAHAHA!
I forgot that Will was dying to tell you he knew a really mean kid named Tanner.
I swear I tried to talk him into being chatty about ANYTHING else in the world. He'd have nothing to do with it. He even went into the bathroom and locked the door to write what he wanted without me bothering him.
I won't ever bother him again.
p.s. keep updating this.
for example, your email about the garden would make a great post...
xoxo
I love this! I'm really sad that our card and ditty never made it to you! I even had Clark try to scribble on a page---which ended up being nothing more than a line or two with his handprint semi-traced...but at least it could've gone on the wall. :)
Maybe next time! Super cute!
(jodie....send another one....) wink!
