Oh - looking at my map...I can see exactly where little Clark Heiselt or BIG Ryan Bayles is! And, hey - there's Matt boy! Now it's way more fun to keep track of my grandkids - especially since they are spread all over the world! Before Jamie left for Guam, she made little magnet people of our family and we made this magnetic world map board.
Now I can see at a glance where everyone is living! (Even my missionary, Elder Cozza in Peru!) I decided to put another touch on the concept though....hanging clocks above the map to show the time across the world! Now when I am missing Clark - I can see at a glance that he's three hours ahead of my time and I can see if he's already in bed....or just waiting for my call. I can see California time where Ryan and Katie are - and they are the same time as my time and when Matt boy calls me - we're on the same time too! Yahoo! The clock that helps me the most, though, is the Guam clock! Get this...Emma and Marta are seven hours back - but a day ahead of my time! That can get pretty confusing! Now I won't make a silly mistake and call them when it's 9:00 a.m. my time. I can quickly see that it's 2:00 in the morning for them and that's a no-no! (Don't ever wake up sleeping babies - or their parents for that matter!) Also because they are "magnets" when Judy and Aaron move to Phoenix - their little magnet family will move right along with them on my map and then I'll move Joey up to Provo to take their place and all the clocks will still be in their right working order! Sooo...how about that!

Judy got a call!
No, no, it was RYAN that she called. :)
No way - Emma got the call!
Oh... this just made my day! This Grandma is smiling BIG TIME!
By the way, do the boys really wear all of those hats in that picture? There's at least a dozen...
Heck no - you wouldn't believe how many I toss when they aren't looking! Believe it or not - it's really "cleaned" up in this picture! Never has anyone said....."where's that hat?" From looking at the picture - I could probably even throw away 10 more! Hahaha
